Manual Da Placa Mae Asus K8v-x Se Pdf. Really needs help. I forgot to mention how my moded ps2 works. It's the kind where you have to press and hold the power button 3 seconds to boot a ps1 game, but in playing ps2 games it's just put the game disc in the disc tray then reset and play that how my ps2 works with it's modchip. I'm just using TDK DVD+R 1-16x right now.

So what about setting up the BOOKTYPE?? I'm having troubles I can't change anything to DVD-ROM. Also still don't know why LG settings isn't recognized. Does this means I have to buy DVD-R Vertabim?? And still setup the booktype? Or not change the BOOKTYPE If I will use DVD-R verbatim?

G'day folks, I spent half the day trying to rip & burn my copy of Duke Nukem PAL to play in my chip ps1. I could not get ANY of my img/ccd/sub rips to work, what FINALLY did work (4-5 dodgy rips/burned cd's later) was copying it as a bin/cue instead, this game now works fine So my question - is there any reason I should not just rip ps1 games to.bin generally? I have plenty ripped as img that work fine, but I read that.img is supposed to be the preferable output format for ps1 games, but have also heard its better to contain rips in the least amount of files, so bin/cue wins that vote easy, as opposed to img/ccd/sub, with 3 total files.

My working copy was made using UltraIso to rip the ps1 disc, then Imgburn to burn it with the AWS write speed setting (I noticed in imgburn that it wanted 3 different write speeds for this particular game, am I correct in choosing this 'AWS' setting for these games or should I stick to the lowest recommended write speed? Elecworks P Id. ) basically I'm after the 'general' answer for ps1 games, but any specific/technical advice will be great to hear too just for the hell of it, I found a pic of a PS2 Naruto game (not sure which I have them all) I took this with a camera ages ago, it still makes me chuckle. Never really liked burning IMG files, they are essentially just ISO's which need another piece of software to burn. As a rule of thumb, ISO, CDI and BIN/CUE are the best ways of going about ripping, I also vouch for MDS/MDF as it has never put a foot wrong (As far as mixed-mode is concerned, also Alcohol has a specific Playstation burning option built-in) Best speed to burn is at 2x (Same speed as the Playstation reads the disc) but 4x rarely creates errors either. 8x is too fast for mixed-mode, the audio will start to skip because the data will be too narrow for the PS1 lazer to handle. Thanks for that, so what I said about 'less files=better rips' is the way to go. Although I use 1xspeed for ripping usually, as I read ps1 disc mode has no room for errors.

A ps1-specific-note, ISO is bad I hear, as it destroys some needed info. And I prefer UltraIso, it has settings for ISO/cISO, BIN (bin/cue), as well as CloneCd(img-ccd-sub), nero(.nrg) as well as Alcohol format (playstation mode possibly? I'm not sure) like you mentioned above. Not sure about CDI but I think I got enough covered already I haven't actually tried to BURN more than img/bin files on the odd occasion with UltraIso, as I prefer the Imgburn layout. As for mixed mode being too fast, my burner sped up to eventually near 24x with this game, and I played through the first level so far with no problems, here's a snapshot of what prompted me to try AWS settings, see the 'Performance' part on the right?
